Over the past six months, we've been overjoyed by the success ofTHE LATEST, whichnow reaches tens of thousands of marketers and business leaders.
For you all, that's meant receiving the most important and actionable digital marketing news, insights, and updates three times a week from Ramona and me. And for us, this experience has helped us develop a more personal connection withour community.
And we don't use the word "community" lightly.
At IMPACT, our goal has always been to bring people together, fostering human connections -- both online and offline -- with an obsession of being as helpful as possible and empowering others to be successful.
We've been able to make significant strides in this area withTHE LATEST.
Not a week goes by where Ramona and I don't each receive multiple personal notes and replies from some of you, our subscribers. Your stories, questions, and heartfelt thank yous have shown us we really are building a true community and a movement.
However, we know we could be doing better.
We know that the very technology that allows us to share our own triumphs, failures, and deep thoughts every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday also limits us.
Spam filters, automated promotional email sorting, and the seemingly never-ending waterfall of marketing emails that cascades into our inboxes every hour of every day has buriedTHE LATESTfor some, making it harder for us to build those relationships across our entire community.
Which is why, after three weeks of discussion and debate, we have decided to makeTHE LATESTa physical newsletter sent via "snail mail," rather than an email newsletter, effective April 8, 2019.
Given our heartfelt focus on community, we know this is the right move.
