Businesses today are trying to stay a step ahead when it comes to branding and marketing strategies. 

One of the way brands are doing that is by turning to influencer marketing and they have seen great results according to statistics provided by Mediakix in their 2019 Influencer Marketing Survey.

To summarize, the survey found the following results:

  • 71% of marketers rate the quality of customers and traffic from influencer marketing better than other marketing sources.
  • 89% of marketers say influencer marketing ROI is as good or better than other marketing channels
  • 65% of marketers plan to up their influencer marketing budgets in 2019.

Why do you think there is such a demand in the influencer world?

Simply put, influencers are known for their one-on-one relationships with their audience; they usually do not have a product or software, but rather are their product.

They are real human beings, living real lives, just like you and me. 

Customers can relate to them; they feel like friends, so they are drawn to and listen to what they have to say. 

According to Branding Strategy Insider

"...six human attributes that attract others to them, even though they have no authority over others: physicality, intellectuality, sociability, emotionality, personability, and morality. These six attributes constitute a complete human being, one who typically becomes a role model. When brands want to influence customers as friends without overpowering them, they must possess these six human attributes."

Influencer marketing enables brands to build trust and it also helps to expand their audience reach.

The below infographic, provided by Influencer Marketing Hub, shows that it is still very effective 2019.

The biggest revelation here is realizing that influencer marketing is on the rise and isn’t going anywhere soon.

Businesses are seeing an amazing return on investment as well as the expansion of their audience reach. Marketers are seeing real revenue from influencer marketing, and the top 13% are making $20 or more for each $1 invested.

With the cost of influencer marketing being so low, it enables brands to be more fluid in refining their process and optimizing on their strategies. 

They have more flexibility to experiment with different influencers, gather better data and analytics, and target more sophisticated buyers.

Influencers themselves have also become more strategic in the way they engage their audience. They are establishing better credibility with their trustworthiness and authenticity.

So, you don’t have to be working with someone who doesn’t understand what you’re trying to achieve. Many of these influencers are thorough professionals.
