Does IMPACT only offer consulting, or do you offer implementation services as well?

IMPACT focuses on coaching and training its clients, and we offer select implementation services as well.

By John Becker

Does IMPACT only offer consulting, or do you offer implementation services as well? Blog Feature

As an Elite-tier HubSpot partner agency, IMPACT gets contacted frequently by companies who anticipate that we do what other partner agencies do: help you produce optimized website content and plan your marketing communication.

IMPACT follows a different model, choosing to reject the traditional agency-client relationship structure in favor of consulting and training.

What does this look like in practice? IMPACT gives you the skills to take ownership of your company’s digital sales and marketing.

While we will not write content for your website, we will train you in SEO and blogging best practices so that you can publish with appropriate cadence and strategy. We will teach you to build a video strategy, maximize your HubSpot tool use, improve your sales process, and optimize your Google My Business profile, among many other things.

We tailor our training to suit your individual needs and goals.

Every action we take rolls up to the same two goals:

  1. We want you to be the most trusted and respected voice in your industry
  2. We want you to be independent of an agency

Your customers have questions. We want them to come to you for their answers.

IMPACT will empower you to teach your customers what they need to know to make a purchase decision. As no one knows your customers or your products better than you do, we believe you should be the one to create the content that educates your prospects. IMPACT will show you how.

What a business really wants from its agency

When a company hires a marketing agency, they’re looking for something more than content and other deliverables. First and foremost, they are looking for expertise.

IMPACT Director of Sales Marc Amigone puts it this way: “Companies are looking for expert advice and guidance that they couldn't get by keeping everything in house.”

In the age of Google Analytics and HubSpot, anyone can pull up insights into traffic and performance. What a company seeks from an agency is the narrative that makes meaning of those numbers — and a strategy for what to do next.

Chris Marr, lead digital sales and marketing coach, puts this in his own words: “What clients really want from their agencies is confidence. They want to know that they can truly achieve something with the agency’s help.”

In that spirit, IMPACT puts its focus on strategy, training, and alignment. Rather than doing the leg work for you (and then charging you a premium for it), we train you to take ownership of your digital sales and marketing.

According to the old saying, if you give a man a fish, you feed him for a day — if you teach a man to fish, you feed him for a lifetime.

At IMPACT, our goal is to teach you how to fish.

Two ends of the client spectrum

At IMPACT, we work with a wide range of businesses from a variety of industries. Despite their diverse needs and goals, we believe they all require the same thing from us: expertise.

The trained-up team looking for guidance

Marc describes one end of this range by way of a recent client: They are a research firm with a robust, highly trained marketing team. They come to IMPACT for tactical insight into their SEO, knowing that a team of outside experts can train them to “see what they can’t see themselves.”

The growing SMB just getting started with marketing

At the other end of IMPACT's client spectrum is a successful, growing construction business that has never needed to advertise in the past. In this case, the business owner comes to IMPACT to learn how he can bring in traffic and leads to keep his pipeline full.

No matter where a client falls on this spectrum — as a marketing expert or a marketing novice — IMPACT’s goal is the same: we want to use our expertise to coach you to mastery.

Consulting services

IMPACT works with clients to help them bring their marketing in-house. We train your team in every skill and competency you need to become digital sales and marketing experts.

This is how we can best help our clients achieve their goals. “The number one thing we can really offer to clients is strategy and insight, giving them innovative ideas and best practices that aren’t on their radar,” says Marc. “That's the thing they can't get anywhere else.”

Digital Sales & Marketing Mastery

IMPACT’s flagship program offers an all-inclusive suite of services to help your business see unmatched results with content marketing. Your program is overseen by two key figures: your account manager and your coach, who work closely with your leadership team to chart a strategy and determine the steps to help you reach your goals.

Clients also meet frequently with subject matter experts who offer personalized instruction on topics including marketing automation, content strategy, using video in the sales process, HubSpot mastery, data analysis, and much more.

These programs run 12, 18, or 24 months, depending on the speed you want to go.

HubSpot Mastery

IMPACT also offers stand-alone HubSpot training to businesses who want to get more out of their software investment with HubSpot. Our trainers are renowned HubSpot experts with years of experience in all aspects of the software.

These services could include help setting up workflows, portal cleanups, data migration, sales tool implementation, and more. The cost is $2,500 or $5,000 per month, depending on the frequency of your meetings.

Implementation services

IMPACT does offer select implementation services that relate to our other offerings. We believe these offerings help us best serve and support our clients.

Web design and development

Your business needs a beautiful website that educates your audience, generates leads, and grows with you. But you don’t need a full development team on staff.

Many agencies sell clients websites they don't need. At IMPACT, we make sure you have a solid marketing and sales strategy in place before we design and build a website for you. Then, unlike most agencies, we gather real-world data and optimize your site accordingly, making sure conversion paths are clear and effective.

Lastly, we train you team to make updates and run tests on the site so you are self-sufficient long into the future.

Paid media

Our paid media specialists can help you plan and execute an omnichannel approach that utilizes social media and search ads to target your ideal customer.

Effective paid media campaigns require a highly specialized skill set — and individual specialists often each focus on a specific platform (Facebook, for example, or Google). In most cases, it is more efficient for companies to outsource.

For most of our clients, their paid media budget represents a small expenditure in their overall budget, and handling this task in house doesn’t make sense.

IMPACT's vision for its clients

All of these offerings combine to allow IMPACT to help any digital sales and marketing need our clients may have. But instead of focusing on tasks, we focus on training and strategy.

“Finding somebody to implement for you is really, really easy,” says Marc. There are any number of freelance websites where you can connect with someone who can help you complete a task.

The higher skill, and the higher need to businesses, is the strategic coaching and training that is bespoke and solution-oriented.

IMPACT believes that we can best leverage our team as trainers, coaches, and consultants. In doing so, we can provide the deep strategic guidance our clients require, no matter what their specific needs might be.
