How ZINTEX Brought Marketing In-House and Did More Business With Less Than Half the Leads
Inviting a remodeler into your home is a big decision. Homeowners want proof, not promises, before they ever book a consultation.
ZINTEX Remodeling Group, a bath and shower remodeling company that already had years of fast growth behind it, wanted to own its marketing instead of relying on an agency and lead aggregators. Using the Endless Customers System™ with coaching from IMPACT, the team rebuilt its website on HubSpot and committed to transparent, buyer-first content.
About three months after launch, ZINTEX reported more gross revenue, net revenue, and in-home appointments in December 2025 than the year before, with 42% of the leads.
ZINTEX’s Endless Customers Journey
Founded in 2001 and based in Lewisville, Texas, ZINTEX Remodeling Group specializes in bath and shower remodels, including replacement tubs, walk-in showers, and tub-to-shower conversions. Today it serves homeowners in 12 states and more than 45 markets.
ZINTEX had already been growing fast. But much of its marketing depended on outside partners, including a website and paid media agency, lead aggregators, and manufacturer leads.
As Shane Rogers, ZINTEX’s Content Manager, put it:
“We want to be less reliant on any other outside group besides our organization.”
Shane described two problems with the old setup. Website changes moved at the agency’s pace, not ZINTEX’s. And paid and organic results were often lumped together, which made it hard to see what was actually working.
With strong support from its CEO, ZINTEX decided to implement the Endless Customers System™ with coaching and training from IMPACT.
Building trust in a crowded market
Home improvement is one of the most competitive markets in the country, and most remodelers say the same things: best quality, best service, trusted experts. ZINTEX decided to stand out by showing instead of telling.
Shane explained the approach:
“We want to provide real proof, not claims, but real proof.”
A former high school teacher, Shane brought an educator’s mindset to the work. The goal was to help homeowners understand pricing, timelines, and the remodeling process before the first conversation.
He described who the content is really for:
“We want to make sure that we’re not just creating content for ZINTEX. We’re really creating content that’s relevant for homeowners.”
How they implemented
With coaching and website support from IMPACT, ZINTEX:
-
Brought marketing in-house, taking ownership of its website and marketing data instead of relying on an agency.
-
Rebuilt its website on HubSpot using IMPACT’s TRUST theme, after first getting about 85% of the way through a WordPress rebuild before leadership chose HubSpot instead.
-
Committed to price transparency, including pricing guidance and an instant estimate tool so homeowners can explore a likely range before a consultation.
-
Published proof buyers can verify, such as reviews, credentials, and real homeowner stories, along with a learning center and buyer’s guide.
-
Rolled changes out through pilot groups of top-performing sales reps before expanding across a sales team of about 85 people.
-
Built a system for customer reviews, asking at the right moments in the customer journey and responding to feedback.
Results
Shane shared a clear picture of what changed once the new site launched and more of the work moved in-house:
-
Better leads, not just more leads: in December 2025, about three months after launch, ZINTEX did more gross revenue, net revenue, and in-home appointments than in December 2024, with 42% of the leads.
-
Lower overhead: the team reported doing the same work and more with less spending than under its previous agency.
-
Fewer canceled jobs: Shane described a significant reduction in cancellations as homeowners came in better educated about the process.
-
More reviews: ZINTEX reported doubling its customer reviews over two years.
-
Traffic recovered and grew after a small, short-term dip from the website migration.
Shane summed up the results:
“We did more in December 2025 in gross revenue, net revenue, and demos, with 42% of the leads that our previous agency had in December 2024.”
Why coaching mattered
ZINTEX works with an IMPACT team led by Allison Riggs, including coach Mandy York and IMPACT’s website specialists. Shane described them as “a lifesaver to set the foundation for where we want to go.”
The biggest benefit, he said, was accountability. When requests from every department compete for a marketing leader’s time, it’s easy to lose a week to work that doesn’t connect to the plan. His coaches keep the team focused on the priorities it set at the start of each 90 days.
Shane also leans on the broader Endless Customers community, attending events and trading ideas with content managers at other companies doing the same work.
What’s next
ZINTEX is still building, and its plan forward includes:
-
Going deeper with assignment selling inside the consultation itself
-
Growing lead volume while protecting lead quality
-
Continuing to improve its pricing tools and buyer resources
-
Staying, in Shane’s words, “a truth teller of the industry, whether they work with us or not”
Shane’s advice for business owners:
“Find somebody that cares about your organization, that wants to see this organization grow and that takes pride and work in their butt off to execute something.”
