This means that the majority of the buying research is handled by "marketing" rather than "sales."

To meet customer needs, a furniture company's marketing department must provide all of the information the buyer needs to make a purchasing decision.

In fact, the marketing department should behave like a media company, making written and video content that teaches people how to buy the right furniture for them.

Part One: We'll learn about what other furniture companies are working on that's making an impact on sales (9am - 10am)

  • We'll show how companies are investing and structuring their sales and marketing teams and discuss the work they're collaborating on that's growing revenue.
  • We'll show examples of strong marketing content and weak marketing content and we'll contrast the differences.
  • We'll learn how your company can track data, prove ROI, and view marketing departments as profit centers

Part Two: We'll identify what categories of content that your furniture company should begin with first (10am - 11:15am)

  • Examine the 4 stages of content that exist in a strong marketing funnel, from awareness to conversion
  • Identify the best practices for content promotion & distribution to build a presence online
  • Explore how to optimize content for SEO that leads to higher traffic and quality leads


20-minute lunch break from 11:20am - 11:40am

Part Three: We’ll make a marketing game plan for the rest of the year tailored for each business (11:45am - 1pm)

  • Assess your current marketing department dynamics
  • Determine if there are other more pressing issues to tackle first before beginning more content creation
  • Learn the winning tips and tricks from other companies behind successful content creation and how your company could start creating content with the existing team
  • Work from templates of tools that IMPACT uses with our clients to set their content creation and management up for success
  • Learn how both video and AI tools are utilized with inbound marketing — and why they become key for your content creation

Each company that attends the event will also have a 60-minute 1-1 coaching call after the workshop to finalize individual content creation plans together.
