EMAIL SIGNATURES AS A MARKETING STRATEGY
This may sound familiar as we talked about it in the Hubcast episode 72. If you still are not leveraging the items we talked about in that episode, go back and give it a listen.
However, this week we are going to build on the previous conversation.
EMAIL VIDEO SIGNATURES
Why you need a video email signature
Your contacts & customers can't really feel a real human connection to you through texted based emails. And sending every email as a video just does not scale.
But, If they're able to see your face and learn what you're interested in through an email video signature, they're able to start knowing, liking, and trusting you.
Whether you're trying to close a big deal or just checking up on a contact, these videos will ensure that each individual you communicate with establishes a connection to you and your brand. And once you've made the video, all you have to do is add it to your signature.
How you can add your video email signature:
- Add it vis Wistia
- Add it vis YouTube
- Use the WiseStamp YouTube Plugin

HubSpot Updates
Introducing HubSpot Projects, a new way to work, learn and collaborate in HubSpot.
Starting October 13th all customers have access to the new Productivity tab in the HubSpot navigation. This change removes the calendar icon from the top right of HubSpot and puts Calendar, Campaigns and Projects under the Productivity tab. This also gives all customers access to our new in-app productivity tool, Projects.
Projects is a powerful productivity tool, that’s going to transform how you collaborate, work and learn inside of HubSpot. You now have a way to manage all the work you do in HubSpot, inside of HubSpot. Allowing you to work where you work is. Furthermore, Projects is chock-full of Templates, pre-populated Projects that walk you through the steps to do any marketing task: create a newsletter, build a content offer, redesign your website, it’s all there. The Templates are built by the inbound marketing experts over at HubSpot Academy. So you know you're getting world case inbound strategy with every Template.
HubSpot Wish List
Currently, you don't receive notifications when a project is completed. Knowing a project is completed is important on following up.
Currently, inside HubSpot, you'll only receive notifications regarding the project tool whenever the following happens:
- @mentions you in a task
- leaves a comment on a task you created or were assigned
- assigns you a task
Show stats for email subject line smart content personalisation
The new Email subject line smart content personalisation is great, but there's no way to report on the results.
eg I'd like to be able to see which version of a subject had a better open rate.
At the moment there's no way to tell which subject line had the better delivery rate, open rate, click rate etc.
