WOW Event 2015 - Richmond Virginia June 3rd
The biggest issue in the inbound and content marketing space is that of getting buy-in from an entire organization. Most often, the marketing department has a vision that management, sales, and other departments simply don’t see nor understand. And when it comes to marketing companies having successful inbound/content retainer clients, the problem is only compounded.
For over 4 years, we at The Sales Lion have been giving Content Marketing Workshops literally around the globe. During this time, we’ve experienced exceptional success, and now we want other marketing agencies, consultants, and even CMOs to understand how to give a world-class workshop to their clients so as to get the buy-in, vision, and results everyone is seeking. CRM/Contacts - Create "Prospect" Lifecycle Stage for contacts added via CRM
Since we started using the CRM/Signals, I've been adding lots of people to the CRM directly and via Sidekick.
But there is not a proper lifecycle stage for these folks. I do not want them to be a subscriber, as they haven't opted in. They aren't really a lead, or an opportunity yet. And they certainly are not an "other".
These are prospects. It makes sense to update the lifecycle stage to include this new use of the contacts database, as the CRM will be used to bring in more and more prospects as time goes on.
Recap: Add a "prospects" lifecycle stage.
Note: I have seen in other ideas that the team is considering and working on offering custom lifecycle stages. While that is great, I believe this is a separate, and more urgent matter.

HubSpot Updates
Segment on the same deal in List Segmentation
Live in HubSpot is the ability to segment contacts on criteria of the same deal in list segmentation. Please note you must be using the Deals API in order to access this new feature.
Previously, you were able to only do segmentation on criteria of any deal a contact has or the most recent deal a contact has. Segmenting on the same deal was not possible, and would sometimes return multiple contacts who fit your criteria, but weren't attached to the same deal. Now, you can create criteria in list segmentation that will produce contacts where the criteria is all wrapped up in the same deal.
With this new capability, you could create a list of contacts that:
...Is over a specific amount and not owned by anyone (for sales assignment)
...Has "Closed Lost" as their stage and after a specific time (for re-engagement marketing nurturing)
...Has a specific name and is of a specific type (for upgrade opportunities)
Head on over to the Lists App to check out this new feature!

Forms are a cornerstone of your inbound marketing strategy, and making this process easier for you helps save time and be more efficient. Starting today, you will see a new way to find and obtain the form embed code that makes your experience with forms easier by by walking through the steps to embed a form.
Where Do I Find My Form Embed Code?
To find your form embed code, simply go into Contacts > Forms > and then into the form you would like to embed, or create a new form. Once on the forms screen, you will see a new tab, as shown in the picture below, that contains all of the embed information.
What Are The Steps To Get My Embed Code?
From the new embed tab within forms, enter a URL beginning with https://, such as https://www.HubSpot.com, and then copy your embed code. The form embed screen will not allow you to copy the embed code until a properly formatted URL is entered in the first step.
