Last week was one for the books.

Hats off to Wistia for setting the business conference bar high with WistiaFest 17, an event all about using video for business.

In the video below, I use run though my biggest takeaways from the event and throw out some suggestions on ways you can start using video within your organization. 

Note from Kyle in the future: I realize now that unaccessible is not a word... even if I wish it was.

My Three Major Takeaways

    1. Video is human
      1. People buy from those they relate to, and attention is scarce.
      2. Video can bring your community together, Joanna Lord
      3. You’re not the hero of the story, your customer is. Talia Wolf
      4. Key takeaway: People are buying better versions of themselves. Video is an incredible way to show them that.
    2. Content and distribution trumps video production.
      1. Video experts mostly critique video content.
      2. Video is now accessible.
      3. Key takeaway: Start making video and then iterate and improve on it.
    3. Video is not just for marketing. Video is everywhere.
