Last episode / episode 009 we answered a question about Podcasting. There has been a ton of Tweets and emails asking us to expound on the topic. One such Tweet comes from:
@RMAnews Thanks brother!! See you there!!! — Marcus Sheridan (@TheSalesLion) September 29, 2014
So this week we are going to take the time to talk through this a little more. We had lots of questions last week after episode 9 and I am sure after this week we will have even more. That is why we are sending you to the source, the Godfather of podcasting - Cliff Ravenscraft. Watch "Learning How to Podcast" from Cliff Ravenscraft
HubSpot Tips & Tricks
Presenting a lot of information on one page can be a killer for engagement. This weeks tip / trick is how to add accordion drop downs into your HubSpot COS website. A couple use-case scenarios for this might be something like:
- FAQ’s for a product page.
- Building an education or resource page.
- Industry that is web copy heavy.
I will be supplying a video tutorial on how to do it as well as the needed code to pull this functionality off in your own portal. Watch the tutorial here Get the code here

Sources - The ability to set a lead status. When I go into HubSpot and look under Sources, it shows my contacts % from organic traffic as .X% - but that number is under-reported by 50% since fully half of my contacts so far have either picked up the phone and called me directly or have emailed me. I know they are organic because the conversation starts with, “I found you on Google…” Tighter integration with Wordpress. What would we like to see?
- Forms data per WordPress page
- Smart content functionality on WordPress sites
- and more...
