You need fast, reliable, and trustworthy marketing data, so you can show the value of your marketing efforts and make better business decisions. With that in mind, over the last few months, we've completely rebuilt the back-end HubSpot analytics engine with the goal of providing you with even more robust and precise metrics.
You saw the first signs of that new system in the last few months, with a new web analytics dashboard that brought bounce rate, time on page, device metrics, and more into your HubSpot portal for the first time.
Over the next few weeks, that new analytics engine makes its way into several other HubSpot tools.
Here’s what you can look forward to with the new engine in place:
Your data will refresh faster --- updating every twenty minutes on average, instead of every three hours --- so you’ll be able to measure the success of your strategy (and pivot accordingly) that much quicker.
Your website metrics will more accurately reflect the way your customers actually interact with your website. That manifests itself in several ways. One example: session timeouts.
Your visitors read your content in spurts. They’ll come to your site, peruse a few pages, head out to their lunch break, then a meeting, then come back and pick up where they left off. The rebuilt analytics engine in HubSpot accounts for those on-and-off interactions in a much more structured way, with sessions that expire after 30 minutes of visitor inactivity.
HOW TO GENERATE LEADS USING LINKEDIN GROUPS [CUSTOMER STORY]
There is a disturbance in the force!!
No longer supporting publishing to LinkedIn Groups via HubSpot Social
What is it:
LinkedIn is removing API support for Groups. This means publishing to LinkedIn Groups from HubSpot will no longer be possible. This affects all Social Media Publishing tools. The only way to publish to groups, will be through the native LinkedIn desktop interface.
Sunset Date: Support for LinkedIn Group publishing will end on 6/30. Note: In advance of this, we will turn off the ability to schedule posts to LinkedIn groups after 6/30.
Note: In advance of this, we will turn off the ability to schedule posts to LinkedIn groups after 6/30.Who is impacted?
Who is impacted?
Any customers who publishes from HubSpot Social to a LinkedIn Group.
HubSpot had to make this change as a result of the updated LinkedIn API we use to publish to the platform. After 6/30 the only way to post to groups is through the native LinkedIn desktop interface. We still think LinkedIn is a great place to share content and reach prospects but their feed seems to be the best place for content and community. We’re always interested to find new ways to help our customers use LinkedIn to grow and are actively working with them to explore new possible integration points.
What should you do now?
Group posting now needs to happen through LinkedIn. We'd love to know if this is an issue for you or if you have other ways you want to use LinkedIn. Please share your ideas and vote on suggestions in our HubSpot Community.
LinkedIn Sales Navigator, meet HubSpot CRM
Bacon and eggs. Great combination. Peanut butter and jelly. Great combination. Rainy day and a movie. That too. Well, a new duo joins the fray: LinkedIn Sales Navigator and HubSpot CRM.
LinkedIn Sales Navigator is a powerful tool that helps sales teams to target, understand, and engage with leads and prospects. From company news to lead search and InMail, It’s a goldmine of useful tools for a sales rep. But if it lives separately from your CRM, its powers remain in a silo. For every record you pull up in your CRM, you have to open a tab (or two) to track down that lead or account in LinkedIn. And, as we all know, tabs are the death of productivity.
What’s LinkedIn Sales Navigator?
If you’re in sales, chances are good that you already use LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
