Inbound 2015
Great email from one of the Hubcast listeners.
Hey Marcus,
Weird question... I was wondering if you could use your magical powers of mega-connectedness to help a sister out? Do you know any ladies who are coming to inbound that might be up for splitting a room with me? All the people I know going to inbound are dudes... If you know any cool chicks, can you send them my way?

In this week's strategy section we ask the question, are you measuring everything?
Do you know where your visitors are coming from? Who your customers are?
Can you measure social vs. organic vs. email vs. direct traffic?
Do you wish you could track more of your direct traffic? Let us know, we want to know if this is important to you.

Trackable eBooks / Presentations
As a marketer it would be very valuable if we knew a lead read our eBook. In the HubSpot CR the Sales Accelerator has a tracking ability for “Decks/Proposals”.
It would be way cool if the eBooks were created as decks or pdf’s and then a HubSpot tool could track and record pages seen, time on page, interaction with clickable items on pages and so on.
HubSpot Updates
New filter option "is equal to" available for date properties in list segmentation
As of today, you can now choose "is equal to" for date properties when creating a list.
Before this change, when working date properties in list segmentation, you only had the option to choose "is between" if you wanted to segment your contacts off of a specific date on a date property. HubSpot found this was tough to explain, and so now has added "is equal to" as an option in list segmentation for clarity.
Please note: "Is between" is still an option you can use for date properties if you wish.
To check out the new filtering option, go to your Lists and create a new one.

WOW Event 2015 - Richmond Virginia June 3rd
The biggest issue in the inbound and content marketing space is that of getting buy-in from an entire organization. Most often, the marketing department has a vision that management, sales, and other departments simply don’t see nor understand. And when it comes to marketing companies having successful inbound/content retainer clients, the problem is only compounded.
For over 4 years, we at The Sales Lion have been giving Content Marketing Workshops literally around the globe. During this time, we’ve experienced exceptional success, and now we want other marketing agencies, consultants, and even CMOs to understand how to give a world-class workshop to their clients so as to get the buy-in, vision, and results everyone is seeking. Specifically, the WOW event will help you if … Check out the WOWEvent page for more details.
