The Best of HubSpot: 4 of Our Favorite Features (and Why We Love Them)

The Best of HubSpot: 4 of Our Favorite Features (and Why We Love Them)

hubspot-ping-pongHubSpot and I have been going steady for about two and half years now, so I like to think I know pretty much everything about it.

How to schedule a blog article, how to read a sources report, -- and of course how it takes its coffee.

In general, I’m very well-versed in everything it has to offer, but every now and then, I hear about a hidden option, tool, or new feature that I didn’t know existed and it makes me love it that much more.

Below are a few of the HubSpot features my IMPACT colleagues and I absolutely love. If you’re just starting out on the platform or are looking for how to get even more out of it, give them a try!

Inline Content Editor

“User experience is extremely important for SaaS companies and HubSpot definitely kicked it up a notch with their new inline content editor and “what you see is what you get” approach. As the name suggests, the inline editor lets you create and edit content directly on the page -- no backend needed. It saves you time from having to switch back and forth between views to make tweaks to the layout and format.

You can use their inline editor while:

  • Creating a blog post
  • Building out a landing page
  • Drafting an email

And, for those of you adventurous enough to compose your post directly in HubSpot, they’ve also included a distraction free, zen mode to provide you with a full-screen editing experience. I love it!” - Carolyn Edgecomb, Community Coordinator

HubSpot Website Platform

“Hands down my favorite tool to use on HubSpot is the Website Platform. As a design /developer, I’ve worked within a number of other CMS platforms (Wordpress, Joomla, Drupal) and HubSpot’s is by far the most user-friendly to work within. I can create great looking pages that are set up to convert. The clients can easily use the HubSpot's intuitive page editor to update the page without hopping into the code. It keeps everyone happy.” - Joe Rinaldi, Creative Lead

SEO View

“My favorite HubSpot tool and one that has been for a while now is the SEO View. This tool allows me to quickly see how well my content is optimized for search engines based upon the keyword I want to rank for. While we’ve all got the basics down cold, SEO View is a handy way to double check.” - Dan Tighe, Marketing Coordinator

Social Inbox

“I love everything about HubSpot's social tools, but I really love working with Social Inbox to get more engagement for my clients. Being able to monitor keywords, phrases, brand names, and twitter handles right inside of HubSpot leaves endless opportunities to humanize your brand and really take social publishing/engagement to the next level.

My favorite part of the tool is the internal notifications. It’s been a huge asset for many of my clients! If a lead is talking about their brand, a competitor, or something related to their product, we can easily shoot over an email to their Marketing or Sales team for them to respond directly. “ - Erica Dube, Account Strategist
