Can you guess one of the main traits a salesperson has that makes them successful?

It’s charisma. Shouldn’t be a shocker, right?

Think about the most charismatic person in your life for a second. Chances are you were drawn to them pretty quickly with their infectious personality.

Heck, you might have found yourself getting so comfortable you opened up about things you don’t often tell people right away, or maybe even excited about things you never had interest in before.

How do you even work on a trait like that? Isn’t it something that someone is born with?

Not necessarily. I’ll let you in on a little secret: you too can have the power of charisma with just by adding a few different powerful phrases into your everyday conversations.

Why is Charisma So Valuable?

Why should you care? Charisma is a highly-important trait to have in sales and business in general.

It’s what is going to help you close more deals and crush your numbers each month. It’s a trait that radiates confidence and excitement, making your prospects feel more connected and comfortable with you and make them trust your opinions. It makes you more influential.

People are more likely to buy from someone they feel comfortable with, and that they know is genuinely passionate and excited about what they are selling.

That comfort is what makes prospects open up more quickly, allowing you to uncover their pain points and provide solutions in a more natural, less salesly way.

You may be thinking, well I’m not naturally an overly enthusiastic person - doesn’t matter.

The phrases include:

It’s proven that sales people who have more charismatic and influential traits perform better than those who don’t - that should be reason enough that you try these tips out.
